Stallions at Mini Appy Acres
Carpe Diem Farm's TATONKA: A 2003 AMHA and AMHR, 34" near black leopard stallion. Tonka is a great little horse with a big heart. He has sired a gorgeous filly for us so far with a foal coming in the Spring of 2008. Tonka has been shown in halter and has done well with Grand Championships. He is well started in halter obstacles and is being started in hunter. I will also be starting him in driving this Spring.
Saxon Mount Kugerrand: A 1998 AMHA and AMHR 30.50" Buckskin who looks more like a Norwegian Fjorde in miniature. He has been shown when young and did very well in halter. I have trained him in halter obstacle and hunter but he did not seem to want to remember any training when in the show arena so he stays at home. "Mark" has sired some very nice foals for us and will continue to do so. He may be little but he has the conformation of big horse in miniature - this is what I want in my little horses - and he passes this on to his foals.
